Budgie on a Ball, Wanting Broccoli

Entry for =KristynJanelle's contest. A watercolor of her budgie, Noah. She said that he likes broccoli and balancing on his tennis ball, so I thought, why not paint him standing on his tennis ball, trying to reach a stem of broccoli? XD

The undulating pattern was surprisingly difficult with watercolors, so I think from now on, for budgies, I'm sticking to colored pencils. Nevertheless, the colors on the bird are really bright and pretty, so I'm glad that I portrayed those in watercolor.
